They were the parents of Christian Gottlieb, Jr. and Emil August Koch of Müllheim, Lorrach, Baden.

Their parents were Johann Georg Koch and Anna Maria Roll, of Nagold, Baden; and Matthias Fricker and Katharina Renckert of Mullheim, Loerrach, Baden.

Died: 6 June 1858 in Mulheim, Loerrach, Baden.

Died: 21 June 1857 in Mullheim, Loerrach, Baden.

Exact burial location unknown as of 2 December 2016.

“My grandfather Ed Koch was a brother to Bessie Koch Palen,  I have lots of Koch and Fricker data. Christian Gottlieb Koch married Anna Maria Fricker,  the marriage date is 1850.  Fricker had 3 children  before marrying Koch as a single woman, 2 unnamed sons and a daughter anna maria fricker junior who immigrated to st. Have Bag, Will Travel

Heidelberg Germany

Despite the gloomy weather prediction of the restaurant manager the previous evening we opened the metal shutters on our last day to see some promising patches of blue sky and whilst we had our final breakfast the sun began to shine and it looked as though we might finally get some better weather.

As we packed our bags before checking out and leaving we had to decide on an itinerary that would pick up as many towns and villages as possible for the blue sky pictures that we wanted and we eventually agreed on Gengenbach and Freiburg and once we had paid up and said goodbye we headed out of Offenburg on the familiar route south.
